CAPTAIN K’S GETAWAY, located on the Madikeri – Sidapur Road is in Kadagadal Village limits and is seven kms from Madikeri, the District HQ’s of Coorg. If arriving in Madikeri by the Bangalore-Mysore- Kushalnagar-Sunticoppa route, make a left at Sudarshan Circle onto the Madikeri – Sidapur road via Chettalli and continue on till you reach the 9th milestone.

Make another left here and follow the inner road till you reach a three- forked junction. CAPTAIN K’S is on your immediate right at this junction.

If arriving in Madikeri by the Mangalore-Bantwal-Puttur-Sampaje route, ask for directions to Sudarshan Circle and make a right onto the Madikeri – Sidapur road and continue as above.

If arriving in Madikeri by the Bangalore-Mysore-Virajpet-Gonikoppa-Chettali route, make a right at the 7th milestone for Madikeri and continue as above.

By Air

The nearest airports are at Mysore (120 kms), Mangalore (136 kms) and Bangalore (256 kms), after which you will have to travel by road (bus or taxi) to Madikeri.

By Rail

There is no rail network to Coorg, but the nearest rail hubs are at Hassan (115 kms), Mysore (120 kms) and Bangalore (256 kms), after which you will have to travel by by road (bus or taxi) to Madikeri.

By Road

The state run KSRTC as well as private operators offer comfortable AC & non AC bus trips from Bangalore, Mysore and Mangalore to Madikeri. Private AC & non AC taxis also operate from the above places to Madikeri.


Climate & Attire

Coorg, often called the Scotland of India, enjoys a hill station type of climate.
